I have been drawing, painting and sculpting since my childhood. After graduation from Kharkov Art Institute in Ukraine I worked in various artistic fields in Ukraine and Estonia. I have been involved in doll making since 2009.
My first dolls were pretty large, 14-17 inches. Recently, after creating a souvenir for the 2018 NIADA Conference I switched to smaller dolls, half the size of my previous ones, but the procedure remains the same: getting inspiration, sculpting , polishing, painting, designing and creating a costume and a wig.
I am a member of NIADA.

It is always a mystery how and why an artist finds his way in art. This is true even for the artist himself. It could be a person (doll Autumn), a piece of silk (doll Nori with Kokeshi Dolls) or a magazine article (doll Yosi). Donna could be the best example of it. I was inspired by the seashore colors and created Donna’s costume as a combination of the blue-gray color of the ocean and yellow-gray color of the sand. Most of my dolls are children, their characters and natural beauty is my constant source of inspiration and my goal is to bring them to life.
